It's beginning to look a lot like Zamboni in a tree

Just a quick walk around the living room
and you can see things are different
around the house ... it must be December.

Is that our chocolate Labrador retriever, Zamboni, wearing a red ribbon and wreath collar sitting in the Christmas tree?

Like dogs and trees

Primary Colors On The Christmas Tree

Remember the big hot bulbs
we clipped on our
Christmas tree in those
long ago years?
Unlike today they were hot
to the touch - & prolly
started many a fire
as if anyone lived
to tell the tale
But far fewer fires
than the candles of old
that burned with one hot color
Unlike the big hot light
bulbs in primary colors
that cooked the dead
evergreen while we
drank our eggnog
