Seems like baseball fans are a nutty lot. They watch TV and get mad at the umpire, Google the poor guy and then send nasty emails to the webmaster of any site that says the guy exists.
Here's a clue for all you fanatic baseball fans:
It's only a game.
I can't help it if you bet the ranch on who wins or loses.
As for our local ump who has made it to the pros, we'll stand by him on his worst day just as sure as will will on his best day. Which is probably not something you're likely to be up to do.
And even though I've never met the umpire you so easily vilify, I admire his spunk.
